Spring Trend: Florals!

April showers bring May flowers, right? Even though it’s not quit May yet, there is no time like the present to take part in the stylish floral trends that are already making an appearance this spring. Although floral prints aren’t quite groundbreaking for spring, this season offers a more romantic and intriguing take on this common spring style.
You don’t have to wait for steamy weather and daily sunshine to throw in your monochromatic, dreary winter clothing. Theses brilliant floral designs come in all shapes and sizes, as well as a variety of bright spring color palettes.
Celebrities such as Rihanna, Kirsten Dunst, and Chloe Sevigny have already stepped out this season in head-to-toe botanical patterns.
Incorporate Florals into Business Attire
Opting for a bold, floral print for a fancy dinner or elegant formal affair will demand attention, rather than blend in to the sea of little black dresses and suits. Some may feel that florals are too youthful to gain respect among colleagues, but popular designers are offering striking feminine ensembles with mature prints and daring necklines or slits that take these floral outfits from juvenile to sophisticated.
Adding slightly sexy flourishes like sweeping necklines and fitted silhouette bodices, designers are replacing the sweetness of this childhood pattern with the daring style of a fashionable power-woman.
If you fear that floral elements can be overwhelming in a rather drab work environment, go neutral on the accessories. A pair of sleek nude pumps or a simple white boyfriend jacket can tone down the look so it is appropriate for your work environment.
Get Playful with Florals
When you are away from work and looking for a style that will turn heads, let your girly flair show with florals. Combinations of multiple floral patterns are being shown by designers such as Missoni.
This collaborative look of dainty florals is edgy and daring, but can be overdone. Make sure when wearing multiple prints to tone down the rest of your look. Pull your hair up in a sleek ponytail and pair your flowery ensemble with solid pumps or strappy sandals.
Busy patterns command attention. Don’t compete with your outfit by piling on the jewelry and teasing up your hair. You may also want to stick to mini skirts and short dresses when combining floral prints. Showing some skin creates a nice balance and prevents heavy patterns from being too overwhelming.
Incorporate Florals Into Your Everyday Wear
It’s inspiring to see some of the floral dresses and inventive botanical looks that grace the runways and walk the red carpets, but get real. The everyday lady needs something a bit more toned down to prevent looking like a clown late for a child’s birthday party.

Sweet Pea & Soft Vanilla

Sweet Pea Soft Vanilla are officially my favourite scented candles ever, they look so expensive but there are not! £1.00 from Primark each. Sweet Pea smells of sweets and it smells a bit sickly which I like. Soft Vanilla would probably have to be my favourite due to the soft smell, which is super calming and relaxing! I love to light up these candles while watching T.V in my bedroom, doing homework, reading a magazine, I would definitely love to use these while I'm filming my videos! It may not interest you, but Hey! I post what I like! If you would like to see any particular blog post from me, please don't hesitate to comment down below, I read all my comments/messages!

NOTD - Nails of the day!

Well hello there everyone, so today I haven't really been up to anything, I filmed 'my everyday makeup routine' video which will be live on YouTube very soon, It's was so sunny this morning, until 13:00pm It started getting really cloudy and cold! Eurgh! But other than that after I write this blog post I will be rearranging my bedroom, I will be moving everything in my room to different parts of my room.

Should i take pictures while I'm doing it? I think I should! Ha! Anyway onto the point of this blog post... my nails were naked this morning so I had to paint  them this gorgeous turquoise colour, It's by Technic  which I believe you can get at bodycare! It's just a beautiful sleek metallic green/blue, so spring right?!  It has cute white shimmers as an undertone, and I think it's so pretty! Don't you?

OK...so we are on our Easter holidays for 2 weeks and a bit more... so I will definitely be posting!
I sure will be doing nails of the day! Not everyday day- because I don't change my nail colour everyday day! But you know what I mean? I will also be doing more videos on my YouTube! So check out my YouTube channel!

Any requests- please leave them in the comment below or inbox me on YouTube- www.youtube.com/cupcakee131

My Story...

Hey everyone, so as I'm writing this post I have actually filmed a Skincare routine video that will be live on YouTube very soon... I have been struggling with my skin for nearly 2 years, I have hated my skin, as of right now it's my biggest insecurity at the moment, i just feel having perfect, clear skin is what makes you beautiful... I have never thought makeup makes you beautiful - I feel that make-up just simply boosts up your physical appearance and your confidence, I started getting spots around about the age of 13 I believe?
I didn't think it would be that bad... I had no intention of it breaking my confidence- but as I started growing up, becoming a teenager I realized what it had done to me- It left dark spot scars on my face, bad pigmentation and so much more.
I know there was lots of things you could do to cover these up but I didn't want to be covering my imperfections up with make-up everyday- nor did I want it to be seen be anybody... since then I don't go out as much as I used to- I don't feel like myself...I feel bad for myself when my friends tell me I have clear skin when it's obvious I don't. My parents have been so supportive to me and they've been doing the best they can- I really appreciate but as of now...My spots have been clearing up- the only thing that breaks my confidence and makes me feel 'not beautiful' is the scars it left on my face... it still gets to me but I know this isn't going to be forever...
As of now I use my 'Simple kind to skin' hydrating moisturizer which has been a big help to me, my T-zone clear pore antibacterial cleanser--which removes/cleans all the bacteria that cause spots-- then for my face wash I use my 'Simple spotless skin triple action face wash'

Leave your story in the comments... I love to read what other people have been through...
I just want to thank my subscribes, followers-- (on twitter and my blog) for supporting me and making me smile...you are all a big part of my life.
I love you will all my heart <3

God Bless,

Daisy x
